School staffer rented car Oregon's Harris drove

The car being driven by Oregon's Cliff Harris when he was caught driving 118 mph on a suspended license early Sunday morning was rented and paid for by a female university employee, a school spokesman confirmed to ESPN's Joe Schad on Monday.

Justin Verlander thought he had his best stuff of the season. That was great for the Detroit Tigers and really bad for the Cleveland Indians. Verlander nearly pitched another no-hitter, taking his latest bid into the eighth inning, to lead Detroit past Cleveland 4-0 Tuesday night and into first place in the AL Central.
