OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Slow at the start of the series and strong at the end, the San Antonio Spurs wore out the Golden State Warriors the way they have so many other opponents.

Software billionaire Vivek Ranadive came to an agreement to purchase 65 percent of the Sacramento Kings from the Maloof Family for approximately $348 million. The Kings' total valuation in the sale is $535 million, an NBA record.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Justin Verlander flopped in his Texas showdown with Yu Darvish. The Japanese star was about to do the same until he settled down after the pitching duel fizzled.
