Henrik Sedin broke out of a lenghty scoring slump at just the right time to help the Vancouver Canucks win their second straight Presidents' Trophy. Sedin provided the only goal Vancouver would need and the Canucks clinched first place overall in the NHL with a 3-0 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday night.

The Los Angeles Lakers played their first game without Kobe Bryant in two seasons, and it wasn't pretty. Unless you're a Phoenix Suns, or maybe a Los Angeles Clippers fan. Shannon Brown scored 20 of his 24 points in the third quarter Saturday night, leading the Suns to a 125-105 victory, their fourth in five games.

Steven Stamkos gave the Winnipeg Jets' fans a reason to applaud on Saturday. Stamkos scored his 60th goal of the season and Teddy Purcell had a hat trick, including the overtime winner, and the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Jets 4-3. Stamkos praised Winnipeg's fans for the response to his goal, even though they had spent most of the game booing him.
