Saints agree to deal with LB Lofton (Yahoo! Sports) Posted: 24 Mar 2012 08:35 PM PDT Former Atlanta Falcons linebacker Curtis Lofton has agreed to a five-year contract with the New Orleans Saints. Lofton, who was an unrestricted free agent, started all 16 games at middle linebacker for the Falcons last season. Jonathan Vilma is the Saints' current starting linebacker and defensive captain, but Lofton also has the ability to play other linebacker spots. |
